Phil Bronstein is the Executive Editor of the San Francisco Examiner. He is married to film star Sharon Stone. The following cartoon strips were created by Northern California artist Frank Bella and were first published in the San Francisco Independent, which is actively opposing the proposed merger of the San Francisco Examiner and the San Francisco Chronicle. It is widely accepted that this merger would create an unhealthy newspaper monopoly in San Francisco.
